Discover Punta del Este one of South America’s most popular and fashionable resort destinations, visit a private museum of contemporary Latin American art. And enjoy some free time.

You’ll drive along the chain of beaches fronting the Rio de la Plata, pausing to enjoy the amazing views at Portezuelo and Punta Ballena. You’ll stop to see the outside of Casapueblo built by renowned Uruguayan artist Carlos Paez Vilaro in 1958. The dazzling white complex, resembling Spanish-Moroccan architecture, is situated on a rocky bluff overlooking the ocean.

Drive through the prosperous residential areas of San Rafael, Cantegril, Parque Golf and Beverly Hills and the district of La Barra to see its unique hanging bridges. Visit Fundacion Ralli, a private museum of contemporary Latin American Art with an impressive collection of sculptures and paintings, including works by Salvador Dali. Enjoy free time for lunch on your own by the seaside, lined with cafes, restaurants and shops.
