Cruising The Haven & Suites: Perks and Details (Part 3)

If you’ve been keeping up with my series of articles on cruising The Haven and Suites by Norwegian, you already know how incredibly luxe and relaxing these extra features can be before you cruise, as you enjoy Butler & Concierge Service, and even with special treats in your suite. Today, I’ll tell you all about areas that are reserved for guests of The Haven. To see it for yourself, be sure to check out the video at the end!

Haven-Only Areas

Dining in The Haven is a big deal. From small snacks to full exclusive restaurants, there’s no shortage of exquisite cuisine. For breakfast and snacks, there is a small buffet area containing coffee and teas, breakfast pastries and fruit in the morning, cookies, snacks, gummy bears and M&M’s in the afternoons, and chilled, fruited water all day.  The Haven Valet handles orders for drinks, or breakfast and lunch from the Suite Dining menu to be enjoyed in the courtyard area, also.  This courtyard and its amenities can only be accessed by The Haven accommodation guests.

Beginning with Norwegian Epic, Norwegian Cruise Line expanded The Haven concept even further, and all suites on this and all ships built since are The Haven suites.  The Haven Complex on these ships is literally a ship within a ship, complete with The Haven Restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner; The Haven Lounge serving up the ship’s finest cocktails; pool(s), multiple hot tubs, and indoor and outdoor sundeck areas; a Concierge Desk is manned from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. daily. 

The Haven guests on Norwegian Epic also enjoy complimentary access to Posh Beach Club, which serves as the outdoor sundeck on this ship, and this complex also features The Haven Bar and Grille in addition to The Haven Restaurant.  The Haven Restaurant on Norwegian Escape introduced the first al fresco dining area in addition to the main restaurant.
