While we are still collectively looking ahead and eagerly preparing for that day soon when we can all sail together again, we're honored to be able to take a look back at some of the top awards and recognitions we received for 2020, all a testament to our incredible land-based and shipboard teams, and, of course, with the support of our loyal guests. We can't wait to cruise with you in 2021.

This weekend, Norwegian Cruise Line played a special role in what many consider to be one of the biggest sporting events of the year.

A Christening ceremony must be befitting of its ship, and for that reason, Norwegian pulled out all the stops for Norwegian Encore. The much awaited day featured a showcase of onboard entertainment including "Choir of Man" and the Tony Award®-winning "Kinky Boots" and a special performance by honorary godmother, and GRAMMY Award-winning artist, Kelly Clarkson.

Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest, grandest ship, Norwegian Encore, has made her debut in the United States. The much-awaited ship arrived in New York City on November 10 after completing her first transatlantic voyage, with a two-day preview scheduled from Nov. 11 to 13.

International superstar and GRAMMY Award-winning artist Kelly Clarkson joins the Norwegian family in an exciting way. The announcement was made in her new NBC show, the Kelly Clarkson Show.

In addition to Norwegian’s exciting Dining, Bars & Lounges unveiling for the upcoming Breakaway Plus class ship, Norwegian Encore, guests and foodies will be excited to learn that Onda by Scarpetta will be making its debut on board the 17^th ship in the fleet.

If you’re already excited to sail on Norwegian Encore, with its top-deck race track suspended 13 feet over the side of the ship and the largest open-air laser tag course at sea, you'll be thrilled to learn about the delectable offerings that await in the ship's restaurants, bars, and lounges.

Get a first look at Norwegian Encore's completed hull art by award-winning Spanish artists Eduardo Arranz-Bravo in this exclusive video. A representation of his modern and abstract style, the ship's hull will feature a labyrinth of color inspired by Arranz-Bravo's life by the sea in Barcelona and paying tribute to the vibrant guest experience for which the Norwegian brand is recognized.

Norwegian Cruise Line held an unforgettable keel laying ceremony for Norwegian Encore today at the Meyer Werft shipyard, unveiling the award-winning entertainment lineup and onboard activities scheduled for the ship’s Fall 2019 debut.

Continuing the tradition of iconic hull art on its award-winning ships, Norwegian Cruise Line announced today that Norwegian Encore’s hull design will be the creation of renowned Spanish artist Eduardo Arranz-Bravo. Set to debut in Miami in November 2019, Norwegian Encore will be the fourth and final ship in the fleet’s Breakaway-Plus class.

Today Norwegian Cruise Line marked the start of construction for its newest ship. Named Norwegian Encore, Norwegian’s latest addition to its young, modern fleet will sail The Caribbean from Miami seasonally beginning fall 2019.
