It’s a scenic drive to Kaloko Honokohau National Historical Park, where you’ll hike to some ancient temples and see petroglyphs carved by the native Hawaiians who once lived here. Walk to the sandy shore where fisherman stored their stocks of fish in traps and ponds, and from where Hawaiian green sea turtles, the very rare Hawaiian monk seal, dolphins and whales may be seen.
