The tour offers stops at many of the island’s most noteworthy attractions, which you can pick and choose at your discretion. Should you choose to ride on the open, top deck, you will also enjoy fantastic views. For your convenience, you may listen to the commentary en-route in English or make use of the multi-lingual audio that tour offers a choice of 16 languages, complimentary earphones and route map will be provided.
Your first stop is Valletta, Malta’s capital city, a city built by the Knights of Malta in 1556, a city filled with historical buildings like the St John’s co-Cathedral with the impassive painting of the beheading of St John the Baptist by Caravaggio, the Magisterial palace, various auberges. The breath taking view from the Upper Barracca gardens is not to be missed, you will find a wide selection of shopping opportunities.
Your second stop is San Anton Gardens, the private residence of the President of Malta, this garden is one of the most beautiful gardens in Malta with a large variety of beautiful trees, flowers and plants.
The third stop on the map is at Ta Qali Crafts Village where different kinds of crafts and beautiful artefacts are sold and created by local experts.
The fourth stop is the Mosta village, the dome of the basilica here is the third largest unsupported dome in Europe.
The fifth and final stop is Mdina and Rabat. Mdina is a fortified medieval city enclosed by bastions, located on one of the highest hills in the center of Malta. The town was the old capital of Malta and is referred to as the “Silent City”. In Mdina stroll and explore through the narrow winding roads of the city.
Rabat, the suburb of Mdina is also full of historical sites, like the catacombs and the roman Villa.
Your tour ticket is valid for the entire day, with bus frequency every 30 minutes.

Note: Walking on this tour is primarily at the guests’ discretion at any chosen stops. Guests must be able to negotiate a step to enter and exit the bus and there are approximately 6-8 steep, narrow steps to negotiate to reach the upper deck seating. The upper deck is open and is not air-conditioned. The tour is available to wheelchair guests who have both a collapsible wheelchair or otherwise, and have an able-bodied companion to assist them. Most buses are equipped with a ramp. Those with mobility concerns are cautioned to carefully evaluate their personal level of stamina and ability. Light-weight clothing; sun cap; sunglasses; sunscreen; and flat, comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Duration noted is the total time of all loops, not including any optional time guests may spend at the stops. Tour will follow the North route.
