Olden Adventure By E-Bike

OVERVIEW

Ride through Olden and into the surrounding countryside on an electric-enhanced bicycle that will boost your pedal power and reduce the physical demands. After a brief orientation on how best to maximize the experience, you will ride off caravan-style on your e-bike. You will follow a wonderfully scenic road through Olden, a tiny village whose population barely tops 500. The setting couldn’t be more beautiful, especially as you pedal south along the meandering Oldeelva River, which connects two shimmering lakes. You will first pass Floen – the smaller lake – and continue along the shore of Oldevatnet, a narrow glacier-fed lake whose waters are typically emerald green. However, the color changes throughout the day depending on the amount of natural light. You will ride a total of about 12 miles with stops along the way to rest and admire natural wonders such as Laukifossen, a small waterfall that is especially unforgettable in the summer.
