In the heart of the Town Square, witness the reenactment of the “Town Ducking”, the old English-style of public punishments of “wenches” and “town gossips”. On adjacent St. David’s island, discover the charm of this unique and enchanting community, once known as the US Air Force Base lands. Absorb the imposing views of the Atlantic Ocean from St. David's Lighthouse significant to marine traffic in the 18th century. Many great photo stops are offered on this tour so bring your camera.
Need to Know:
Note: Tour will meet at cruise ship pier and be escorted onto high speed ferries over to island of St. George's. Tour is operated in 6-seat minivans. Actual tour portion is approximately 2 1/2 hours in duration and does not include travel time by ferry to St. George's which is 45 minutes each way. The tour will end in St. George’s at approximately 1:15 pm allowing for leisure time before your return by ferry at 3:45 pm (ferry return times are subject to change).
