If the ship docks at 7 am, what time can I expect to be off the ship with my luggage?

Trying to determine return flight time.
Asked by: conniehar
If you are planning on catching a airplane, don't make your flight until mid afternoon. Remember you still have to go through airport security and customs. With the virus things may even take longer!

Escape entertainment

We were on a 14 day cruise to the Caribbean in January,2019 and are now going on the 15 day transatlantic in April. Has the entertainment changed since then? The Choir of Men; After Midnight etc. were the key shows last year. I was hoping for something different this time.
Asked by: Catharine
We just got off the Escape last week and those two shows were still on the entertainment schedule. The comics were excellent!

I need a sharps container, where and how do I get one?

Asked by: Bribryjes
There should be a sharps container in your stateroom bathroom. If there isn't, just mention it to your stateroom attendant who can get one for you.

Can I rent or borrow a fan for length of cruise? If so, how?

Asked by: Bribryjes
Unfortunately NCL does not have fans available for passengers to use on board its ships. You are allowed to bring your own with you if you choose.

Promenade deck on Escape?

Is there a promenade to walk around the whole ship on the Escape? The Pearl has one, for example.
Asked by: AlyC
The Waterfront on Deck 8 goes almost all the way around the ship. When you reach the front, you will have to go inside and walk past the forward elevator lobby to reach the other side of the ship to resume your walk.

Dress code for specialty restaurants?

We have cruised before but did not go to any specialty restaurants. Do we have to dress nicer? We don't like to dress up on vacation and getting my husband out of a tshirt will be tough. We would not look bad but just in shorts or jeans and a nice tshirt. Does he need a collar? Thanks!
Asked by: conniehar
NCL does have a dress code and it is posted at the entrance to each specialty restaurant. It calls for collared shirts for men, along with slacks or dressy jeans and closed-toe shoes. NCL staff do not seem to enforce the dress code rigidly, however. We sometimes have seen men wearing designer t-shirts as well as shorts or sandals. For full information on the dress code, please see this link:!#what-clothes-should-i-pack

What all is in the bedrooms?

TV, iron, mini fridge, exd.
Asked by: JessANDZac22
Each stateroom includes two twin-sized beds which can be pushed together and made up as one queen-sized bed. There is a television, phone, mini-fridge, and closet. Prior to the Covid shutdown there also was a coffee maker in each stateroom at the Balcony category and above, but that likely will change when cruising resumes. The bathroom includes dispensers for liquid soap and shampoo. There are no clothes irons in any of the staterooms, but you can borrow one briefly from the Housekeeping Department. You can click on the Staterooms link above to see a floor plan and sample photos of each stateroom category.

Asked by: donode
Unfortunately, no. Wine is not included as part of the Specialty Dining Package. Wine and other alcoholic beverages are available for individual purchase. If you have one of the beverage packages, however, wine will be included up to the maximum limit of your particular package.

What is the legal drinking age on board?

Asked by: LiaZEEEE
Passengers must be 21 years of age or older to purchase or consume alcohol. With the exception of Alaska and Hawaii itineraries, Norwegian permits young adults to purchase and personally consume wine and beer only while onboard and with the consent of an accompanying parent. Authorization will be given only when the accompanying parent completes the Young Adult Alcoholic Beverage Waiver form. This form can be obtained and completed at the Guest Services Desk upon embarkation of the vessel. However, passengers 18 years of age or older are permitted to consume beer and wine when sailing on round-trip European and Australian voyages without having to complete the Young Adult Alcoholic Beverage Waiver form.
