Other highlights include Roman emperor Nero’s villa and the Temple of Zeus, which once held the Statue of Zeus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. For an even more detailed perspective, you will visit the nearby Archaeological Museum of Olympia, which contains artifacts found during excavations of ancient Olympia. Afterwards, while touring the family-owned farm Magna Grecia, you will hear about the organic production methods and sample a selection of olives that demonstrates their distinctive tastes.
