Learn how to prepare several classic Montenegrin dishes in a hands-on cooking class and then dine on your delectable concoctions. On the way to the village of Klinci, you will pause for photos at an elevated lookout that offers panoramic views of beautiful Herceg Novi Bay. A brief but enlightening tour of Klinci follows, during which you will see landmarks that reveal much about the village’s culture and history. Even so, the highlight will be the cooking class held in a centuries-old family estate. In this spectacular setting, you will learn to cook a traditional Montenegrin seafood dish. The country’s coastal cuisine is heavily influenced by what the fishermen catch daily in the local waters. Depending on what is freshest, you may prepare a dish with fish, octopus or squid as the main ingredient. Chances are, you will also made kacamak, a simple potato side dish. Both will be served as your lunch along with glass of local wine.
